Transportation

Cars

When discussing transportation with the venue, they mentioned the prevalence of Ubers in this area. Due to the different hotel blocks and locations, we will not be providing mass transportation for the wedding festivities. For car rentals, contact local car rental angencies.

Air Travel

Depending on how you want to structure your visit surrounding the wedding there are two airports that are likely of interest to you, BOS (Boston Logan) and BDL (Bradley).

BOS

The venue is an hour and a half away by car from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). However, if you stay in the Boston area, there are many sights to see and activities in which to partake.

BDL

Bradley International Airport (BDL) in Connecticut is 31 minutes away from the venue. This is likely to be the most efficient airport to fly to/from for the wedding itself.

Activities

This is just a selection of venues and activities to give you inspiration for your visit. Feel free to find other activities that match your interests!

Frequently Asked Questions

General

Where should I stay?

We have made hotel room blocks that are close to the venue in different price ranges. While there are some Airbnbs in town, the best option outside of a hotel would be staying at a local bed and breakfast. Click here for hotel block information.

How should I get there?

There will be plenty of parking available at the venue location, both in front of the venue on Smiths Ferry Road and on the left when you enter the lot. Ubers are extremely common in this area with several colleges nearby.

Who should I contact if I have other questions about the wedding?

Please email [email protected], or contact Ashley or William.

Gifts and Registry

Are you having a honeymoon?

Yes, eventually! William's busy work and class schedule means we will have to take our honeymoon in mid-2025. You can contribute to our honeyfund here!

Do you have a gift registry?

Yes! We are registered at Amazon. In the spring, we purchased our new home and have been working hard to remodel it on our own. Because of this, we will gladly accept any financial gifts to go towards our house or honeymoon. Thank you :)

The ceremony will begin at 4pm. PLEASE arrive around 3:30pm. If you arrive earlier, there is a restaurant and bar inside called 'The Mick' or feel free to check out the Dinosaur Footprints just down the road!

Where is the ceremony?

The ceremony will take place outside (weather permitting). It is to the left when you enter. There will be clear signs, but anyone working at any building on the lot will be able to direct you.

Where should I sit?

The set-up is a bit different as the aisle winds up a hill. There will be three seating levels, with the top being reserved for the wedding party and family.

Wedding Reception

Where is the reception?

A short walk away! Just across the parking lot. You can walk by the hotel to utilize the covered walkway to the venue.

How do I know where to sit?

We will have a seating chart by the entrance of the reception!

Can I bring a plus one?

All invited guests are listed on your secure RSVP website page. At this time, unnamed plus ones were given to those travelling by themselves across the country.
